Favourite travel experience
One of the most special places to visit is the island group of the Farnes. You take a small boat to one of the uninhabited islands, step ashore and come up close and personal with seabirds such as the much loved puffin, arctic terns or guillemots. Enjoy a panoramic boat tour around several of the 28 islands and experience one of the largest Grey Seal colonies worldwide. Round it all up with some fab authentic fish n chips at Seahouses... Great day out!Favourite place
For me, it has to be Newcastle - for so many reasons! One of those is that most guests have no real perception of the city until they are there. Gone are days of coal - today, Newcastle upon Tyne is one of the great Northern cities for culture, arts, food lovers, riverside strolls, architecture, theatre, shopping and a good night out! Combined with that, in only a few minutes you can be on the beautiful Tynemouth coastline or in the remote Northumberland National Park on Hadrian' Wall. The city is a perfect base!
