PROTOCOLS FOR A NEW NORMAL
Throughout the UK and Ireland, travel restrictions and social distancing rules have relaxed. However, your safety and wellbeing are of highest importance to us and the following measures will remain in place.
- You are required to wear a face covering onboard any vehicle tours we offer at this time. Please get in touch with us before your trip if you're exempt from wearing a face covering.
- On vehicle tours you receive a non-touch temperature check on departure.
- It’s not essential, but we recommend you take a lateral flow test before you travel with us.
- We provide hand sanitiser onboard our vehicles and our guides/drivers adhere to all COVID-19 requirements as far possible.
Please ensure you read and understand the latest entry requirements into the UK from your respective country (-ies) of origin prior arrival and prior booking. Ensure you have adequate travel insurance for your trip. Find the latest government guidance here. You may be refused travel if you're not complying with the government's Coronavirus laws and the current travel restrictions in Scotland, England and Wales.
Covid-19 & General Virus Spreading Prevention
In July 2020, we created a detailed working document and transparent reference point for our customers, staff, directors, suppliers & authorities to disclose and demonstrate awareness, procedure, principles and action to understand our COVID-19 prevention procedures, risk assessment and strategies. Contact us to view these in full.
In brief, we are making sure that all staff understand their responsibilities, any vehicles (suppliers) are cleaned to the highest standards, that all staff (both our staff & all suppliers we partner with) are trained (and re-trained when emerging or evolving information determines) and are provided with the right knowledge and equipment to carry out their duties effectively.
In recognition of producing a detailed plan and ensuring the health and safety of all guests and members of staff, we have been awarded official accreditation from the World Travel & Tourism Council as well as Visit Britain and Visit England.
